Brief overview of your hunt and stay
Located in Jacobson, Minnesota, Unit 51, we offer guided black bear hunts and fishing trips along the Mississippi River. Because I currently work full time, most hunts are scheduled for weekends, but weekday options can be discussed during your booking call. Guests should plan to arrive Friday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. deparchor times can be discussed.
There are multiple campsites in the area for those bringing campers. We also offer hookups at our location for a small fee, along with camper rental options on our property. Hotel options can be found about 20 minutes away in Grand Rapids, MN. Once you arrive and get settled in, we will complete the necessary paperwork before heading out by boat for your first evening sit.
Hunts will run through the weekend, ending with your final evening sit on Sunday. Fishing will also be included throughout the weekend if the Deep River Pro package is selected. If no shot opportunity is presented during your hunt, we will reschedule you for another weekend at no additional charge.

Additional notes
All bear hunts include assistance with retrieving, gutting, skinning, and quartering the bear. If taxidermy services are needed, we are located just 20 miles from one of Minnesota’s top bear taxidermists.
Life jackets and all required boating safety equipment will be provided. Safety harnesses for tree stands will also be supplied. For guests who choose the afternoon fishing option, all fishing poles, bait, and tackle are included.
There are multiple meat processors within 20 miles for those who would like to have their meat professionally processed. All tree stands are two-person ladder stands. clients can bring a guest for an a additional fee

I spend every day in the fall out there hunting and fishing, and recently decided to share my passion for it with others.
